Who doesn't love Mexican themed meals?!
Making a Mexican version of anything is the easiest way to get my kids interested in a meal.
This salad dressing is no different. It literally takes 5 mins to throw together and only has 5 simple ingredients. You can use healthy fats and control the quality of ingredients added.
Store bought salad dressings use inflammatory, processed oils and have unnecessary additives and preservatives.
I encourage all of my clients to make their own dressings for this reason, and once most of them start, they see how easy and delicious it is.

RECIPE:
1 cup of mayonnaise ( see my healthy recipe here.)
1 cup salsa
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cumin
Mix all ingredients together in a blender until smooth.
Use this dressing to top any salad. Great salad toppers with this dressing would be:
-Cilantro
-Avocado
-Organic corn
-Black beans
-Cheese
-Sour cream
-Organic corn tortilla chips
-Salsa
Enjoy!
